afterblow feature

i have a 2001 sc2. did anybody here of an afterblow feature that they have to have activated by the dealer? it's supposed to turn on the blower after the car sits for a while to dry out the evaporater housing to eliminate odor on a/c startup due to moisture causing mold formation in there. i never heard of it.
