Install a new Ignition switch '94 Sub.

Anyone who has done this I would appreciate any help. There is suppose to be some setting to put the keyed ignition part into before changing the switch on the column. Also what does one do to lower the column? Are there any special tools needed?

Well I did it and it wasn't the problem. I only wasted $11 and 2 hrs time. Turned out to be the starter. I banged on it and it started just fine one time. So I have removed it and am going to get a re built AC Delco one. $90 at O'Reilleys auto parts.
