Tamiya Ferrari 360 Modena (with progress pics)

I started this model about a week ago, and so far I've begun assembling the chassis, put 3 coats of primer on the body and 1 coat of red paint, and trust me it is red. the lighting in the room makes it look pink.

So far so good. You need to do something with the lighting though.

You decided to place the sills on after painting then!
I'll be interested to see how that looks!

I was looking at this kit yesterday and it really is a great looking kit. Pity about the price of it here, $75.00NZD which is getting very dear for a model here.
You could buy two Tamiya GTR32's for that price

I put them on last night, i guess it just slipped my mind to attach the buggers. maybe all the fumes got to me. i just added the second coat of paint and also sprayed the rearview mirrors and the headlights cluster mold.

I find the prices of the newer kits are a about 10-20% more than the average 2+year old kits. That's why I'm going to wait and get one later. I don't think they will be too hard to find.

Because Ferrari charges Tamiya huge licensing fees. There should be a little tag/sticker on the front of the box that's numbered and says it's Official Ferrari Merchandise. That tag costs you.
