between an 02 maxima vs 02 audi a4 1.8t, which one is faster?

depends on driver, transmission, etc.

Providing the same driver, and both manual transmissions, I'd say the maxima.

a 3.5 maxima is faster without question. the audi weighs more and makes almost 90 less hp and 80 less lbs of tq.. the AWD version is heavier still, by another 150 lbs and makes the same power.

The Max would chew the A4 up, spit it out and use it to wipe the floor with. Those 1.8Ts have no balls whatsoever

Hands down....The Maxima would own the Audi.
The Audi only has 170hp and 166ft. lbs of torq.

The Maxima has 255hp and 246ft lbs of torq and weighs around 200lbs less

The A4 would launch better and the 60ft times would probably be better but that's about it really.
