Importing VR-4 to the States?
Hello,
planning on moving to the US in the near future, either Atlanta or Los Angeles to work, depending on where I'm assigned. Are there any rules against importing RHD cars into the US? I also hear that you guys are pretty strict of emissions, is this in all States? I want to bring my Legnum VR-4 with me, so any info or if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Re: Importing VR-4 to the States?
I can tell you this much, importing will be a hassel. CA has the strictest emission laws in the world methinks. Your best bet would be to buy a VR-4 1990 Galant or a 3000GT....those are the only VR-4s that came here. Also, I dont think they allow right hand drives...havent seens too mny on the road at all...

Right hand drive is ok, the only thing you would have to worry about is:
#1- emissions- Which can be fixed with a few bolts and parts #2- saftey - The U.S. market has very, very different saftey specs. late
