HP on new Cobra?
My question is the new SVT Cobra comes out as an 06. My question to you guys is what do you think the horsepower will be? We know it will at least be in the 400s, but where in the 400s? I'm going to say 450 and my friend is saying 500. My dad on the other hand is saying around 435 so Ford can make fun of GM and their L88 Corvette in an odd way. Anyway I would like to hear your opinion on this. Thanks

we know virtually nothing. there's no proof that there will even be a cobra in '06. all we really can say is that the horsepower has to stay well below 550 so that they don't trump the GT. i understand that the new supercar that Ford is dreaming up has a 650 horse v-10. if they keep raising the bar like this, who knows how far the horsepower/musclecar revival wars will go?

yea i saw something about that, theyre redoing the shelby cobra, from what i saw it looks awesome, and the numbers were something like 600 hp, 510 tq. with the gearing it has itll go 280. anyway about the cobra, i really cant say, and id rather be pleasntly surprised when it comes out anyway
