i need a carb sticker

ok i got the gayest ticket ever in my school parking lot... cop wrote me up for 27151(a)vc (cali code and section) - modified exhaust pipe. but i looked it up and it says you cant modify exhaust so it is no longer in compliance with some other bullshit code, and i know mine isnt very loud so i doubt it is no longer in compliance i think its like 95 decibels.

i was gonna throw the silencer on it and go fight it in court. but then i realized that my apex GT probably isnt carb approved so i NEED A CARB STICKER!! anyone got the hook up on these? i know i can pass the loudness test but if they ask if its carb legal i think im probaby screwed. so..yeah court date is 9/28/04 so i need a sticker before that. i looked on ebay and got nothin so im hoping someone can help me out.

by the way, i was coasting at about 1 mph approaching a speed bump when i saw the cop. i kinda rolled over it and then he pulls behind me with the lights going, so this jackass didnt even hear it. it isnt even a loud exhaust! it just has a nice deep sound nothing like stupid sounding civics that are really high pitched and shitty. IMO it would pass the decibel test without the silencer but i was gonna put it on anyways, but now i just need a carb eq# sticker on it. so basically if anyones got one and can tell me where to put it on there ive got this ticket beat. FUCK THE PO-LICE!!! HELP ME OUT!

You don't need a CARB sticker for it. Have you or can you pass emissions? If so, just go to the referee and have them certify your exhaust. Yes, 95db is the limit, and you should easily pass that. Once you get certified, your ticket and charges get waived, and the next time some f*cking a$$hole cop wants to give you a ticket, you can tell him to cram it up his ass, LITERALLY. Legal baby, the only way to f*ck the cops properly

catbacks isn't consider part of the emissions....even the exhaust. You can get a ticket for being too loud....I would just fix it and pay the $10...It should be a fix it ticket.

Not to change subjects, but do you have a GT spec on a KA24? Modifying exhausts is legal. The only requirement is that you have a muffler of some sort. Other than that, pass emissions and you should be fine.

and no im not gonna "fix it" i.e. take the $400 exhaust off and put oem on... so... yeah.

and yes the KA is in there, i got the apex gt spec because i thought i was going SR, but now im planning on building the KA and keeping it NA, so im thinking about switching to the N1 Dual, which i think would be better for a NA setup. so...anyone want to buy a used but still fine A'PEXi GT Spec cat-back for S14 for like....$400?

i would hereby like to revive this thread because i had to print out this shit for court date tomorrow morning and i just want to say its cool i was able to get hooked up with this shit from some real nice person somewhere out there. forums can be good and useful! hopefully nobody ever gets a ticket as gay as mine and so it will never be needed to be brought up again...
