|
Radiator fans blowing in Intake
Alright, got a Cold Air on my Talon ESi. The other when I had the engine on looking under the hood, I noticed that the one radiator fan is actually blowing its hot air into my Cold air. Is this affecting any performance? Anyone else notice this? Is this were those heat shield things come in handy? Thanks.

Im pritty sure that while the car is moving the fans arnt on. correct me if im wrong.

Your right RaginAsian.... the fans shouldn't be on.... and if you are at a stop I would think that having the fan on wouldn't be any worse than the fan being off and the heat off of the engine/exh.manif being sucked into the intake.... kinda a 6 of one , half dozen o the other... I (at one time) made my own heat shield to separate the filter from the engine bay.... didn't notice a damn difference so I took it out....
