D15B2 rare?

I read in another thread that this is a rare motor. My 88 dx has one in it, wanting to know how common it is.

Re: D15B2 rare?

It's as common as dirt.

j/k

The d15b2 was the mid level motor for our cars, there was the d15b1 about 70ish hp, the d15b2 with about 92hp, and the d16a6 with about 106hp.

I think I got it right.....

Re: D15B2 rare?

NP, I now realize the hp stuff was unnecessary....

But you are correct, the d15b2 is a common engine.

Re: D15B2 rare?

I've seen more of those engines than D15b1's and d16a6's. They are so damn common it's crazy.
