1950 Olds and 1952 Caddy Question

Ok,

I have been asked by a guy to put power steering into a 1950 Olds.

Now, I have heard that the 1952 Caddy/Olds/Buick all had the same steering box and power steering unit and that it would fit on a 1950 Olds as well.

Does anyone know if this would work or not!?

i believe you need a 605 box
