transmission problems

just bought a 95 monte carlo ran fine for a month. then while driving transmission completely quit. will not move in forward or reverse. engine runs fine. help please!

oNE THING i WOULD LOOK AT IS THE TRANNY OIL PUMP (IF IT GOES YOU LOOSE EVERY GEAR) DEPENDING ON THE MODEL IT MAY BE THE TRANNY

Well I just took my car in and had the tranny rebuilt. it cost me $2200. a big dent in the wallet of a teenager. but atleast my car is running good now and i got a warranty on it in case anything goes wrong with it in the future. the guy at the shop i took it to said there was tons of things wrong with the tranny thats why i ended up just rebuilding to whole thing. well im off to go cruise!!!
