Power Steering Flow Control Valve
I have an 86 Mustang that sheared a bolt that hold's the alternator to the power steering pump. I had to take the pump off to tap the sheared bolt off but in the process the flow control valve and spring fell out before I could note their positon inside the pump. I put the valve in first then the spring but after that I lost all power sterring. So now I'm assuming that perhaps the spring goes in first followed by the valve next to the preasure hose. Any confirmation on this would be greatly appreciated before I put this thing back together again.

Re: Power Steering Flow Control Valve
No one? Anyody know where I might be able to find out. From what I've seen, Chiltons dont have the internal explosion view of the power steering pump.
