Question I have a ding, ding, ding question

I'm the 2nd owner of a '95 LeSabre. The original owner, unfortunately, has yet to get their hands on the owners manual. Filed it for safe keeping I was told. I guess it's real safe. Anyway...every now and then, I get a ding, ding, ding alarm. Same sound that you hear when you start the car. As far as I can tell, everything is in perfect order: seat belts are on, doors closed, all the gauges read OK (at least to my untrained eye). Any guidance/explanation would be appreciated. I'd hate to be traveling I-40 and have the roof blow off cause I didn't know what the alarm meant. Thanks!

Re: I have a ding, ding, ding question

I had this same problem. It turned out that my blinker was still on.

Thank you both for replying. And, you were correct. I feel kind of foolish now, but grateful. Hope I have an opportunity to put your minds at ease some day just as you've done for me.
