95 firebird help help help tranny help

ok here we go the problem the tranny
if u drive it nice and slow and dont take the rpm over 2000
1995 firbird fourmula auto tranns with over drive

the car shifts perfect and i say repete perfect
but when u drive it and u go over 2000 rpm and the gas more then 1/2 way to the floor the car will excellerate but when u hit 5500 rpm some times it will happen sooner 3500 rpm
its like u just shifted it up in nutral and kept your foot on the floor as soon as u let up on the gas and the rpms lower down to about 2500 the tranny will work fine till you
you push down on the gas and it will excell till it hits
that rpm range then it happens all over again and again
it will happen in each gear tried the shift button on the concel
on off it does the same no matter what
i tok it to the local tranny shop around here and had them change the filter and he said everthing looked good on the inside clutches
like i said it works great when u drive like a little old lady or man LOL
and man i have asked and asked can some one anyone help me just an idea to replace hate to take it out and get a rebuilt one when there is nothing wrong with it just some sensere

sounds like clutchs in your tranny are going out. thats about the only thing that could make it slip like that.
