hey guys, i noticed today on my way to school thaat when i accelerate in third and fourth gear that the rpms gauge jumps around alot. instead of slowly climbing, it shoots up to about 3000 and then drops back down. i dont know if its just the needle stickin or what. this is the first day it did it. thanx

well my dad drove it and he was pretty sure it was the clutch going out, so it looks like i'll be buying a new clutch instead of a flowmaster.

Re: jumpy rpms

make sure you get a beast one. actually, a good clutch and new flywheel is a better mod than exhaust, unless you just wanted the car to sound cool...

Re: jumpy rpms

dont waste money on flowmasters. Edelbrock performers flow about 70 more cfm's than flowmasters and you can get them cheaper. only drawback is they dont quite sound as good
