help!! muffler is too loud
i have an accord 97 ex i had it straight piped with a high flow cat
and i got a muffler with silenser but it still sounds like a loud tin can can any one tell me why? |

its prolly the high flow catalytic...i had one on my 91 accord and wheni put the stock back on the noise went down alot

yes nothing beats stock for minimal noise production

because you
"have an accord 97 ex i had it straight piped with a high flow cat" exhaust - stock cat - mid-pipe silencer - stock muff = noise really all you can do is buy more stuff...if you like the muffler you have not try having a silencer put back in the midpipe |

you should try getting a resinator welded on. it will bring the noise level down alot. also oval muffler canister are less noisier.
