d15b2 mini me?
I bought a 88 hatch little whiles ago and it had a rebuilt motor. all new mounts, clutch, cleaned up, all that good stuff. Instead of throwing it away. I kinda wanna rep a SOHC that beats a DOHC. Is there a VTEC head that fits on the d15b2 because I would start with a VTEC head before I do anything else. If I cant do that I guess I can go b16.
One more thing. My friends were saying b16s are slow. My friend 4 door Joe has a 93 civic with an LS(b18b1), exhaust intake headers, chipped out ECU and he runs 14 flat in his 4 door. MY other friend had a b16 bubble (before it got stolen) and it ran like 16s at best. Is that a b16 time because we think something was wrong. What can I expect for a b16 quarter mile time?

Re: d15b2 mini me?
Alot of people put vtec heads on a non-vtec D16, it's acheap way of going from 102 HP to 130,
it works, but if I were you I'd save up money and get a B16.Do a google search on mini-me D15 and you'll find tons of info. |
