Radio Display

Know anything about the radio display for a '98 sunfire. sometimes the light works and sometimes it doesn't i thought it was a short but i also think the weather could have something to do with it, can anyone help?

Re: Radio Display

The backlight bulb is going out. the filament is broke and is sometimes making a connection, then you hit a bump and it breaks connection and goes out.

Hi I've been having the same problem with my sunfire for about 3 months now and a week ago it just died completely. So I was wondering if you know how expensive it is to replace, and how easy it might be to install.

Re: Radio Display

It takes a little bit of work to get the radio apart, but if you know how to tinker, it's not hard to figure out. The bulb itself is not expensive, just a little tricky to get to
