Need new synchros for 1989 Daytona getrag
Hello,
I’m looking for where I can purchase new synchros for my 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby manual transmission. It has the Getrag transmission and the first-second and second-third synchros are toast. Chrysler no longer carries them so going through the dealer is out. I have not had much luck in my basic internet search. I’d appreciate any help the readers of this forum can supply. I’m capable of changing them myself if I can only get my hands on them. Thanks, Mark 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby 2.2L turbo II, 5-speed getrag

You broke an A-555? I'm impressed.
Anyway, check out turbododge.com they usually have one or two for sale in the swap meet section...

Yeah same here. Lol.
I knew a 555 was destructable, I think it's the 568 that's the "Tank", at least once it has an upgrade or 2. Either way, missed gears take their toll on synchros, and one-wheeled burnouts are hell on diffs. Hey, you sure your clutch ain't going out? Very similar symptoms to 1st and 2nd syncros going out..
