Question speed?

I have a 98 S-10 4.3L, and I was driving the other day and had it up to 160km/h but I could not get it passed 160 it was limited to that speed.. How can I remove this?

I assume you mean 100 miles per hour, so as far as I know, almost all newer chevys (except sports cars) govern out at about that fast, my solution would be a power chip/hypertech programmer

Re: speed?

Just look on the internet for the Jet Performance modulator. Its easy to install and you will get a horepower gain along with the rpm and top speed limiter removed. Here is an example...http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/s...owerMods02.htm
