LE MANS contest entry: Nissan R390

I started couple of week back, but don't have time to post it.So here the pic.I've only just primer it.



I dont have the cash to buy cf decal.so I thought I just paint the design.I've done this to my seat.

Great work on the seat! I really liked it, it gives the impression of Kevlar right.
a little touch ups on the edges and it would look even cleaner IMO... hey! maybe a top coat of clear. What do you think?

Seat looks real i'm also doing this kit for the contest but that's till next year .

Welcome to the comp Zturbo, you're kicking along nicely so far.
The R390 is one of our most popular cars so far, almost on a par with the 917 in it's various flavours. Is somebody up to doing the blue checkerboard '98 longtail version? That'd be something to see.

I.ve only started with the engine block and gearbox.I thought I done the body first because I going to detail the engine and it's gonna take along time.I dont like doing two job at once

At first I was for that kit because I thought I saw Tamiya make that kit.But after long time of searching I cannot find any.So I decided to make this one.Did Tamiya make this kit?

The weather Is really good today,so I have time to paint the black part.here the pic...




The last pic doesnt really shine because the masking tape.I'm polishing it right now...

look very nice.

It might be difficult, but for best result, you need to put decal then clear coat over it. I did it and it look very nice.. just be carefull

Looking nice, I didn't see anywhere if you wrote how did you do that seat (mash or something else?)
The body came out pretty clean, couldn't do it my self I hate two tone bodies it never come out the way I want.
