Fuel cut out while cornering
My fuel seems to cut out when I take hard corners. It only happens while cornering and when the gas is at half tank or less. I know there is a rollover valve in these cars that could cause this. I believe there is a rubber fuel pick up in the tank that could be busted or dry rotted causing this.
Can someone backup my theory or let me know what else may be causing this. I'd rather not order parts I don't need. I've already spent over $600 Euro reconditioning this thing.(91 ford escort LX, manual, 1.9L, no recent work done on fuel system). Thanks in advance Robert |

Hello
I too have a 1993 Ford Escort, 145,000 miles. My Escort cut out on right hand turns. Had fuel pump and fuel filter replaced. Also replaced PCV valve. Car runs like a champ. Hope this helps Jo Jo |
