94 thunderbird starting troubles

My 94 3.8L V6 thunderbird starts good for the most part.

However sometimes when I try and start it it cranks well but doesn't fire. And then when it does start up, all the radio presets have been wiped out. I was thinking that its a voltage drop. Could it be a poor ignition coil or something else?
