vibrations

ok, along with a few other issues, what are the symtoms of bad CV shafts? I noticed that at 15-30mph when on the gas it vibrates and if i turn it changes and so on. If i load the car up with people, it does it worse. SO i figured drive shafts are shot. they should have 105K on them. boots seems ok. Should i replace them? It also seems to vibrate now at 50MPH.. has new balanced tires.

Re: vibrations

To check out your CV joints: drive the car in a circle (i.e. max out the steering wheel) at a slow speed. If you hear clicking from the wheel area, the CV joints are worn and need replacement.

Not really hearing any clicking, But what it does do is, the more load i put on the car in terns of wieght the harder the vibrations.. and as the car suspends or bounces around on the road, its gets worse and better as the car bounces around. meaning if the body goes up its better if the body goes down its worse.
