What Has Honda Done To My Car!?!?

so i take my 89 crx si to honda because of a serious braking problem (fronts dont work.) They tell me my brake diaphragm has busted and my brake booster etc is shot. they also change my timing belt because the fluid has leaked onto and ruined it. . So i come back the next day and drive the car away. Only to discover IT DOESNT ACCELERATE. I floor it in 1st gear and it literally takes about 5 seconds to get to second. After second, theres no use in shifting because i cant get a far enough straightaway to get it past 5 or 6k rpms. If i shift before then, it begins to bog down. here are my mods

JR supercharger on d16 running 10 pds of boost w/ boost guage
JR fuel pump
JR fuel pressure regulator (at 34 pds) w/ pressure guage
DC headers, powercore race cat, cust. 2.5 inch exhaust
MSD Boost timing master w/ air/fuel guage.

The supercharger is working because the boost guage tells me its boosting and i can hear it. The FPR is still at 34 pds. ANOTHER THING is, the car is a LOT louder than it used to be (and i mean A LOT.)
Could this be a timing issue? if so, would it really make THIS much of an impact? i mean, i cant even make it up hills without flooring it in second now. some vacuum issue with my pedal or something?!? please help!!

hmm that's wierd... i would say check your timing - but you would think that the dealer would check for that after changing your timing belt. Take your car back, if they try to give you shit then turn them in. the JRSC is a part that is warranteed under honda... if you are getting no power then it is their fault - you had power before you gave the car to them.

The JRSC and any other aftermarket part will NEVER be warrantied under honda.

Your timing was originally set where before taking it to the dealer? Where is your setting now? The dealership will set the timing to stock. I would think they would set timing to the d16 specifications. Detonation = bye bye engine. Go find out where your timing is at. If it is at stock then figure out where the other noise is coming from before getting a compression check. So you were just boosting 10psi with the boost timing control and upgraded fuel pump? Boosting 10psi without at least water injection, fuel hacks, or a standalone results in serious detonation .

All common problems relating into a loose or slipping belt. It is also a problem associated with a jacked up blower that needs a rebuild.

Anyways, this is why i ask, "are you sure you are even boosting?" If so, where to? If you are in boost, then running really really rich will lead you to some serious bog issues. Please be specific as to where exactly the noise is coming from. Describe noise in more fine details.

Also, you should check to make sure your gas line cable is properly tensioned............but if you say you are boosting, then, this wouldnt be the problem. Check anyways.

Pull out your spark plugs to see what color they are.

PS: Go find out exactly what the honda technicians actually did.

i dont have problems with detonation because i run about 93-95 octane. The timing before was set to 10 deg. BTDC. Even if its at 16 BTDC(stock), i wouldnt be slow as a bicycle.
Im sure its not the blower because it was running great when i pulled in. i really do think its the timing belt.

- the noise is the exhaust note. It sounds like theres a megaphone at the end because its assloads louder. This is what confuses me most. If timing is off why does that raise exhaust volume?

well I don't know much about forced induction but I think when you go that route you have to either retard or advance timing (not sure which, but I think retard) anyway when the dealer put the belt on they will put timing back to stock because that is what they are supposed to do, you probly just have to readjust your timing to where it belongs for the FI.
