Electrical chaos in my trunk.
I recently have been building my sub box for my trunk. I just went out and bought some 6V trailer lights for inside my box so that it'll glow through the ports. I own a 1995 Eagle talon. I opened the back hatch window, pulled apart the light in the trunk that opens.. wired my 2 6V lights to the line that runs into the trunk light. After about 4 minutes of the lights working, the bulb burnt out and now the lights in the trunk don't work and i am having sound problems with my alarm system. What should i do to try to find out whats wrong with my car? I checked the fuse panel and coudln't find out what is wrong? None of the interior lighting works. just the overhead light and such. The dash all still works!
Any suggestions? Needless to say, when i pulled out my door lock fuse and put it back in, my alarm turns on and wont' shut off. Any other suggestions? How would you go about hooking 2 six volt lights up in your trunk? What should i do next time? |
