so car starts to act up, take it to a repair shop guy wants to charge me over 200 bucks to replace a blown coil.. he says it is only one coil that is blown, is this something i can replace on my own, can i just replace one or do i need to replace all six... need a cheap alternative than 200 bucks.. any suggestions?

Re: 1998 honda passport coil problem

on the newer models the coils are part of the plug wires. they only screw onto the valve cover with two 8 mm screws. the older models are right in front. Both are easy and any do-it-yourselfer can do it.
