spare tire carrier

Does anyone know if the swing away tire carrier for the 2 door S10 blazer will fit the 4 door model? I have a 1997 and I would like to fix up the looks of the truck.

I can't see why not, but you will have to do some slight modifying.

My guess is no. The tire mount has nuts welded to the inside of the body, so it won't just bolt up. You'll need to fabricate some plates to back the mounts as well. In my opinion, it's not worth it.
