Putting the Lights back on the Rad Support?
I'm re-building the front end of my 91 S-10 and I'm having problems putting the light fixtures on the new Radiator Support. I have the Front Lights and their backing fixture (for the adjustement screws) and that's it.. how the hell do they hold on to the Rad Support?
There are no holes in the support and the Light Fixture doesn't fit into the Light Holes on the support. The adjustment screws can't hold the lights all by their own either. Any ideas? Am I missing a piece? I've searched through my old parts and I don't think I've missed anything. Here's what the Support looks like: http://www.chevyautobodypartstore.co...6954Q9193.html |

Yea,you might have gotten the wrong support. There are 2 different rad supports and the difference was the light location.

Re: Putting the Lights back on the Rad Support?
The 2 rad supports look very close but the one has the light locations just a little bit off.You say that you just need to know how they can go on though.Well each light has a bucket that 2 adjusters go into(1 on top and 1 out to each side)and 1 spring that goes to the inside.Thats it.Hope this helps.

Look for the the metal that is stamped out so that a spring can go through it.Then it just goes onto the corner of the headlight bucket. It also has a indent so the spring will not pop out once it is in it.
