Jetta 2000 Starting problems
I have a 2000 Jetta and it will only start if it has cooled down for about 1hour after it's initial start. I can run to the store a 1mile and when I return the car it will not start. It has been to the dealer twice and they can't find the problem, because it always starts just fine.
Can someone, anyone help me PLEASE |

Re: Jetta 2000 Starting problems
I've seen the hot no crank condition on the older models, especially automatics. It's usually a problem with the starter itself. One thing you can try is to have someone wire in an extra 40 Amp relay into the starter circuit, that was actually the dealer fix for the problem on the older Golfs/Jettas.
