DAMN speaker SOB!!!!
one of my speakers gave out today. front left. i was listening to my new dj tiesto album and wasn't exactly blasting that hard. but you know trance. and then all of a sudden... it just went shitty. it still makes sound but just shitty. whenever the bass comes up... it makes that shitty vibration buzz sound. i guess i blew it!!..
fucking dealer wants to charge me $92 + tax and shipping.  anyone knows a good place that i can get one for cheap.

hell yeah time to upgrade. I blew mine exactly the way u said above. I replaced them with Infinity Kappa componennts....they hit hard for the size, wouldnt go with anything else. expensive, but ull love them (hit just like little subs)

i am planning on upgrading the front two instead of just replacing the front one that blew. got any suggestions that's under $100?

hey guys, do you know if there are any 6x9 speakers that will fit in my 98 gsx? I'm talking about upgrading the back speakers to 6x9's if it's possiable.

Let me guess you have about 90k on the car? Mine and a couple of other peoples front speakers blew right around 90k.

ok guys... after a careful studying of crutchfield's site. here's what i came up with. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-fi4cq5m...&avf=Y&search=
it's a 3way 2-65watts front door panel speakers. it's just right around $100. so fits exactly my budget. they do come in pair right?

ok... ti's all too late.. i bought it already.. stoped by bestbuy today and they had it with the same price.. so i just picked it up. just finished installing it. i guess it works alright. my friend said you won't notice much difference untill you upgrade the head unit. oh well.. at least i have a fully working system now again. thanks for the help guys.
