Locating IAT sensor

Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,

I thank you for letting me be a part of your forum, I need some info on locating the IAT Sensor on a 1990 Ford Ranger 2.3 L engine.

If anyone could help me with the location it would be most appreciative?

Thanks in advance,
Greg

Re: Locating IAT sensor

I think you mean the IAC? Idle air control motor?
Or intake air temperature sensor?

Re: Locating IAT sensor

Try looking at the lower part of the intake manifold. It should thread into it's hole like a bolt.
