Disconnected wastegate

I was driving my car one day and noticed a lack of power. I listended closer and noticed no nice cool whistle and whoosh either. Then it dawned on me, the wastegate accuator had come off of the gate itself. I drove it to where I was going and checked it. Sure enough it had come off. The tiny little itty-bitty E-clip fell off. I dont think it would hurt anything. Anyone else have any input? I sure someone does. I got to thinking that it would be a pretty nifty way to limit my boost to zero if I let someone borrow my car. Still builds a tiny bit of boost though.

Same thing happened to me. I was giving my friend his first ride. he was trying to be nice "dude this thing is fast"

but we all know Zero Boost = Slow as balls
