Re: Buying new rims

I have a question about rims....how do you know they'll look good on your car before you buy 'em? Hehe I know, it's a dumb question but some rims look good but might not look good on our cars and vice versa. I wanna get some rims in the future but I don't know which one's would look good and which one's would not!?! :oP

If you go to tirerack.com they have a pic of your car and a pic of the wheels and when you select a wheel it puts them on the pic of hte car. Other than that theres Grand Tourismo 2-3 which does kinda the same thing.

Re: Buying new rims

Make sure they clear your calipers first. The vr4s calipers are oversized and present alot of fitment issues with aftermarket rims, make sure that these rims will fit. I don't know if the SLs and bases are as bad as the vr4s, but just check before buying them.
I'm not familiar with those rims, so I can't be much help about that, but freeing up that much rotational mass will definantly be a good thing.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
