Where is low side A/C valve?
I was attempting to try recharging my friend's 1996 4-cyl Camry and I couldn't find the low side A/C valve. I found the one with the "H" on the valve cover, presumably the high side. Could be it's right in front of me and I just can't see it. That's what my wife usually says. Can someone help?
Thanks in advance Jim |

Re: Where is low side A/C valve?
It's typically along the firewall...with an "L" on the cover. I've seen in some cars that it's down by one of the headlamps, which is typically where the high pressure line is. Just check along the firewall first, and if you can't find it there or by the headlamps, trace the A/C lines from the high pressure and you should be able to find it.

low side of AC
I just refilled mine and it was troublesome to find. But it is located right in front of the passenger side fire wall. Good luck!

Re: Where is low side A/C valve?
Thanks everyone, that made it clear. The valve had no cap on it and it was pretty cruddy, but that was it alright.
