Well im not going to go into the detail of how much of a pos the A/F gauge is in off the shelf form but I can tell you why it would be running lean.

You removed a plug designed to restrict air flow.

Thus allowing more air flow, right?

Can you finish this sentence.

By placing more air into my motor my air fuel ratio will increace on the ___ side not the fuel side. ?????

Give it a shot.

Re: bcs help!!!!!!

Did you remember to plug the wiring harness back in?

I don't agree with you. As soon as the ECU sees more airflow it should adjust the fuel to compensate.

The BCS mod is a rather odd mod, because it is complicated and you could avoid problems by just getting a MBC between 60-100 bucks.

Re: bcs help!!!!!!

the AF gauge reading doesn't become accurate untill the throttle opens up to a certain level.

What's so odd about it? It's not complicated at all, and it takes a total of 10 minutes to do. I do agree with you though, if you have the money it would be better to just buy a $50 MBC.

For all we know he can be running 18 psi on poor flowing injectors.

He basicly explained nothing to us. I took it for what it is.

it's not really odd, but it just makes more sense to just a MBC and go the correct and easier way.
