damn college

ok i know this has nothing to do with camaro's but it does with cars i was gonna go to a place called port and chester in a year (since im taking a year off from school) but my friend was telling me how getting into cars is a dead end job and that if u wanna succeed you need hookups or have mad money??

can anyone else tell me otherwise

Re: damn college

well, it depends on what aspects of automotive mechanics you get into. if you are just going to get ASE cert. and nothing else, then yes, it could be somewhat dead-end. however, as long as there are cars, there will be a need for a trained professional to work on them (as im sure 89IROC would agree). if you want to get into more specialized fields, like performance engine building or autobody, stuff like that, i think the opportunities are more abundant. it all depends on what you want and like to do, but i dont think that anything is dead-end...

Re: damn college

im thinking of going into the mechanic field as well, and yes there will always be cars, and cars will always break down, so there is always a need for mechanics.

Re: damn college

thats a good price but can a GT be turned into a roush stang. i want side pipe exhaust, the works.
or should i not waist my time and money. i have a 94 supercharged z28 that will leave a zo6 vette setting in its tracks. its had a lt4 conversion as well and a hot cam put into it. i need me some headers for it.
