Re: loadds of questions
Firstly, the T28 or GT25 turbo is a perfect upgrade for the ET Pulsar
2nd, VL throttle body flows more air hence making more power - once the car is tuned for this extra air flow 3rd, You should be able to fit 16" rims that are no more than 6.5" wide with 205/45/R16 size tyres Lower it 40mm and a front mount intercooler with a decent quality 2.5" or 3" exhaust... Good luck |

Re: loadds of questions
T28 & GT25 all bolt up to the factory exhaust manifold but the exhaust dump pipe(off the back off the turbo into your exhaust system) will need to be adapted to the new turbo. See any decent exhaust shop for details... Fit the exhaust at the same time if not done already. Then get the fuel / ignition timing adjusted and a computer chip fitted to suit the added airflow.(I recommend a Chiptorque chip or an aftermarket ECU such as Wolf 3D or Microtech)
From memory, the VL Throttle would be a later option as it does require some surgery to fit - Get an auto throttle while your there, they have a variable Throttle Position Sensor 17"s require drastic surgery to guards, major suspension re-work and are expensive on tyres(remember, you will have about 100Kw at the wheels by then) so soft grippy tyres will get chewed whilst struggling for grip... For instance, I have 18" rims on my N14SSS with 195hp at the wheels and they last about 5000Kms with $600 per tyre Hankooks on the fronts. So that is a good reason to get 16's, cheaper on tyres(about $120ea and probably last more than 15,000Km's before you see steel belt hanging off them. Oh, and get the brakes checked too as you'll need some whoa to match ya go. |

Re: loadds of questions
roughly how much will it cost to make the dump pipe?
and also do you know of anywear i can buy at turbo from it doesnt matter if it is second hand just as long as its not going to blow up 10 seconds after i put it on. my ET has a computer under the passanger seat is it possible to move it or is that just a waist of time. thanks again dude your a big help. i got ages to do up my car as i am only 16 so if you have any other cool crazy mod ideas let me know and ill have to drag ya some day. peace out yo |
