few questions

i have a 94 thunderbird LX with 4.6 V8 this thing has all the options except dual power seats the thunderbird logos in the grill and taillights are gold and my moms 93 LX with base options are silver is it for looks or what.

My car has a moon roof and when its cold the gears grind really bad or if you open so far is it normal?

I have had trouble with the car runnin lean and gettin bad gas milage im talkin 16 mpg on a good day i replaced the ecu after it shit out and it still does it when its cold it acts like its runnin out of gas at one time it had a kn air filter i guess the oil plugged the MAF sensor so we took it out and cleaner the injectors with a pressurised system and it improved slightly any thoughts it also has a P1000 in the computer that wont go away it was on both computers

Re: few questions

Really bad gas mileage? I have a 95 4.6 v8 and when that comes to mind I had to replace a oxy sensor. 4 in v8. local mechanic has informed me that that will give real bad gas mileage? hope this helps
