Ecu Location

hey I just got a new ecu chip and need to find my ecu. I think its at the passager right side right under the glove box. Is this right, there is a metal box there and it says "belt control warning" on it. Know I thought that my 92 integra Ls Ecu should say p30 on the box. Can someone strighten my confussed butt up.

Re: Ecu Location

Im not positive on the 90 - 93 models, but I know in my 94 Teg its on the passenger side, remove the plastic panel by the floor mate closest to the door. It is a metal box, unsure of what it saies though.
should look like this. If your installing the chip yourself, Be Careful

just lift the carpet up on the passenger side where the feet rest and there will be a metal plate that has four- ten milimeter nuts. remove them and the ecu will be underneath it.

So I guess I need to take up just about all the carpet where the passager feet rest. Because to removel that metal plate I need to fully get the carpet out the way.

just take the carpet back from the top till about where the floor levels out. you'll see once you start on it.
