thud noise in front left

Hi guys,
I'm having an issue with something. In my front left wheel, there is a thudding noise mostly noticeable when I go over speed bumps or when I'm just coming to a stop and the cars settle back. Can anyone tell me what this might be?

Thanks

Re: thud noise in front left

Had the same problem with my 93 S-10 blazer and discovered a missing transmission mounting bolt gone on the left side. After I replaced it I never heard that thumping noise again going over any bumps or tight turns.

had that happen in a 1991 blazer. Turned out to be a rotten lower control arm. In my 2001 my ball joints needed to be greased to get rid of an intermitent clunk. Good luck.

Re: thud noise in front left

Yea, get your front end checked by your favorite mechanic.

DON'T GO TO THE DEALER!

Sounds like a stabilizer bar and end links could be bad.
