Steering Stabilizers - how long do they last?
Have an 89 burb with 140,000 miles on it. How long does a steering stabilizer last and what is evidence of it going bad. Not leaking that I can see but wondered if there is a normal life to them?

Update on Stabilizer.
Bought a replacement Monroe at local auto parts for about $30. Old one had better feel to it than the new one so put the old one back on. If this is the original one it didn't need replacment and has lasted a long time. I purchased the vehicle at 130,000 so don't know if original.
