rims on 95 blazer

i have a 95 blazer. i want to know if a 17" rims by 8.5" would fit this truck. would i need spacers and how big? or what i would need to do to get them to fit. i think the rims are of a chevy super sport(older) says GM on the rims. the tires currently on there are low profiles. the one on the truck currently are BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A (p235/75R15 108S M+T)

i've found a set of 17's that are 8" wide and they will fit but i'd have to buy them. i'd like to put the 8.5" on because they are free. anybody????

Is your truck a 4x4?

If Yes, they could fit if they have a 5 x 4.75" bolt pattern and a 40+mm offset.

If yours is 2WD, you will need spacers.

it's 4X4. how would i be able to tell the sizes? would i be able to measure it some how?

I'm not sure about the 8.5" wide. I don't see why it wouldn't. I'm running 18x8" rims on mine, with 255/55r18 tires on it. The only time they rub, is when I hit a hard bump. My truck is Full-Time AWD, also.

I must be seeing things, when I open the hood of my blazer then... It says straight out, DO NOT TEST ON A 2WD dynomometer, as this is a Full time All Wheel Drive vehicle. I will take a picture tomororw, and post it on this site.
