No Spark

Tried to start car with low battery with charger on boost (stupid). May have fried electronics. Put in new battery. No spark at coil wire. What should I check next, and how?

check live to the coil with the ignition on? if you have a feed, hold ht lead to earth with a pair of insulated pliers and get a second person to crank, if no spark, replace coil.
