Unhappy Brake problems after bleeding

1998 LS1 Firebird/TA - 13,000miles - Since the brake fluid had never been changed a friend and me decided to tackel the task with a power bleeder he has. After we change the brake fluid there is a strange feel on the brake pedal... almost like the feeling when ABS kicks in. I had not notice it at first but after a couple of thousand miles you can feel it just not right.

Time to redo the bleeding??

Warp rotors with only 13k???

Suggestions appreciated!!

Re: Brake problems after bleeding

buddy with a car/truck anything is possible. i also done this to my 94 z28. after i was done i tried it out, my pedal was the same way. but my car was pulling all over the road. both front brake hoses was rotten around were it couples into the steel lines. that may be a thing to check on yours.

As you can tell by the mileage this cars has not seen a lot of road. Everything is stock. Since new the brake fluid has not been changed... even the tires are the original rubber. Since I had a company car this one sat in the garage with little use. Just weekend miles until 6 months ago...when I changed jobs and now is my daily driver. So now it seems the car is aging at a rapid rate

I will check the brake hoses. Thanks!!

Re: Brake problems after bleeding

when you say this do you mean it brakes then lets off just a little then brakes again???
if so i would say your rotors are warped and yes it can happen with very low miles... i have a ls1 brake upgrade on my 95 lt1 and it does this very easy as well as my 00 ls1... the ls1 rotors are bigger and can warp very easliy with just a little heat, also if you pride your car and wash it just after driving it this can warp the rotors as well... i would ceck there...
