Rough Shifts

I have a 92 Camry 5 Speed, with over 200k miles, (Yeah.. I bought a car with over 200k miles... lol) and the gear shift from 2nd to 3rd is actuley pretty rough. Ive gotten used to it, and can shift it without roughin it, but it feels like im pushin through rough areas as I shift, and if you dont shift it right it makes a rather loud clickin noise (And you can feel it in the knob aswell) and im pretty sure the sound is directly below the shifter. All the other shifts are pretty smooth, but they could be smoother. Also when the car is off, the gears all shift perfectly smooth. Like i said I know its a old car, but is there any way to smooth out your shifts any?

Re: Rough Shifts

Try changing the transmission oil. Might be old and nasty.
