Question crx front on civic hb

hey everybody, i was wondering what exactly i need to do to get a crx front bumper onto my 91 civic hatch. i know that the crx doesnt have the filler piece under the headlights but our hatches do.....so i'm assuming i have to take that off. so will the crx front bumper just bolt right on without any modifications? thanks for all your help.

yes, crx and civics have different corner lights thats why im pretty sure you need the fenders too cause thats where the gap is, where the corner light is...

Re: crx front on civic hb

yea you need the fenders also, but more importantly, the bullet moulding on the fender is at a different height from the civic and crx, so your line wont match up either.

Re: crx front on civic hb

i had a 91 crx si and hit a deer at 90 mph no frame damage and the front bumper was untouched so i started lookin for cheap parts so i could use the 3grand insurance check for other stuff so i went to a junk yard and got the hood and finders and glass out of a civic got home and the only thing that would fit was the hood and it did not look right so i took the parts all back and found a crx from the local impound yard and rebuilt my rex u can swap the fronts but u need the whole front wrap fenders, bumper and possably the hood (never put the civic hood on to see for sure but it looked like a close fit) there may be somethings under the skin that maybe needed as well
