Re: intake help

...oooo u bought one of those! my first suggestion is to take it to a shop, chances are if it doens't have instructions it might not even fit right and a shop is going to have the tools/additional parts to make it fit, my local shop installs the AEM for 25$

Re: intake help

You got ripped, sorry. The whole thing looks to be poor quality. I suggest you try and return it and get either an Injen or AEM intake. And unless the picture that I see is merely a generic one, the "intake" does not come with a MAF adapter. Your car will not run properly without a MAF. Can you take a picture of it and email it to me at [email protected]?

Quality costs money plain and simple and horsepower costs money. A generic ebay intake is not quality by any means and will not net you the gains that a intake by Injen or AEM does. Those companies put lots of money into R&D to make a quality product with dyno proven results. Those other "companies" on Ebay do not, but merely copy their design but use inferior metals and connectors.

Re: intake help

I'd have to agree w/johnny on this one. I bought one off of ebay and it never even came close to fitting. After installing it, later on that night, my SES light came on. Next day, I threw it away, ordered me an Injen CAI. Within the next two days, my intake came, installed it. Never been happier.
