WTF is this D15B?!

Ok heres the deal. I purchased a D15B a while back to get my car back on the road as cheap as possible, as I needed to get to work.

I purchased the engine from Nippon Motors

Engine is marked D15B, 16 valve
NOT VTEC NO VTEC NO VTEC NO VTEC :P
It also came with the entire Carbeurator (cs) setup

What the hell did this motor come out of? I cannot find any information on a 16V carbed D15B ANYWHERE!

its a engine outta jdm dx or under. just take the carb setup off and put on your stock fuel injection manifold. i had one as a replacement for my stock engine.

Re: WTF is this D15B?!

I've had the FI on it for a while, but I'm trying to figure out what it came out of, and since I've searched and search and not finding anything I'm kinda riled. :P

THANK YOU

Re: WTF is this D15B?!

you might have a problem with where the manual fuel pump bolts onto the back side of the head. I dont have experience with these engines personally, but i know the carbed engines had a mechanical fuel pump located on the rear of the head where the modern d series have their VTEC solenoid.

Re: WTF is this D15B?!

If it came with twin-carbs (Keihin) then it's off the lower spec "hyper-carb" Civics from Japan or a GL from the UK or Australia.
