Mudding Capability of S-10

I am curious about other people's luck with the off road capabilities of their 4x4 S-10, I know with mine, i have tried, and tried hard; But alas i cannot get the thing stuck. I am not sure about the s10 blazers but I have heard other things about 4x4 s10's, Mine is all factory. Any other information helps satisify the curiosity of a crazy off road driver.

Re: Mudding Capability of S-10

You might be lucky, and have a rear posie differential. Tires make the biggest difference.

I bought my blazer with a blown motor from my boss, so I can't really say how they do, but he has a 5 mile driveway from hell, in a high snow fall area. He's had to run 4 chains on his Ford F-250, to get home, but he's never complained about the Blazers ability.

I can not say that I have taken my Zr2 to the ultimate max, but I have gotten it through the local mud pits with a pretty wore out back right tire and a fairly worn out left rear, and had absolutely no problems. These are pits that people have gotten stuck in too, so they are not just puddles. They are in muck by the river, but never more than about a 1 1/2 feet deep, maybe pushin 2 if you look for the deep spots. I actually havn't used my 4x4 down there even, and I get through them fine, so like I said, never actually tested it, but its been beutiful for me. My co-worker has the same truck and he gets through pits that full sizers don't cuz he doesn't get bogged down with the weight. I'm am fully happy with these things off roading capabilities.
